TUITION ASSISTANCE

Decisions about tuition assistance are based on demonstrated financial need, artistic level of audition/portfolio review, academic performance, and the need of the school for students with particular training and talent.

CAA offers two types of tuition assistance:
  1. Financial Aid: Financial aid is based on financial need of a family and helps defray the cost of attendance for those students who could not otherwise afford to attend. Eligibility is determined by comparing what a family can be expected to pay with the cost of tuition.
  2. Merit Scholarship: Merit-based aid is awarded to those who demonstrate extraordinary excellence through their audition, portfolio, and academic review to the school.

How To Apply For Financial Aid: Families are eligible to apply for financial once they decide to apply to CAA. To be considered for financial assistance, families must complete the following by January 18, 2012:

  1. Complete and submit the FACTS Grant Aid and Assessment application online at: www.factstuitionaid.com. Please allow 3-4 weeks processing time. Download the FACTS flyer to learn more.
  2. Mail or Fax signed copies of your 2010 Federal Income Tax Return (1040) and State Income Tax Return, including all required schedules and W–2/1099 forms to FACTS no later than January 9, 2012.Your financial aid award will not be finalized until FACTS verifies your application and all supplemental paperwork.
Families applying to the 2012-2013 school year must complete the FACTS process by January 18, 2012 to be included in the financial aid review.
